The 2015 Volvo S60 has 3 recalls, the most serious being a door latch that can break and allow a door to swing open while the vehicle is moving, raising the risk of injury to anyone inside.
The front seatbelts are also affected: a defect can prevent the belt from properly securing an occupant, leaving them with reduced protection in a crash. On the electrical side, this recall only affects vehicles with keyless ignition, where the central electronic module can malfunction and cause the windshield wipers to run continuously while the ignition is on, and the turn signals, high beams, and headlight switch may stop responding, reducing visibility and making the vehicle harder for other drivers to read on the road.
