On the lighting side, two recalls affect visibility. Some trucks may have headlights that do not meet minimum brightness standards, leaving the road ahead poorly lit at night or in low-visibility conditions. On trucks equipped with snow plow lamp preparation kits, the snow plow headlights can be switched on independently of the marker and tail lamps, meaning other drivers on the road may not see the truck's full outline while the operator believes all lights are active. There is also a compliance recall involving the certification label: the listed weight rating for the pusher or tag axle may be incorrect, which can lead an operator to load the axle beyond its actual capacity, raising the risk of structural overload and loss of control.
