Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee vehicles equipped with 2.0L PHEV engines. The engine may shut down due to a loss of communication between the transmission control module and the hybrid control processor.

On certain vehicles equipped with a 2.5 L HEV or PHEV engine, a manufacturing problem could lead to an engine failure. In some cases, an engine failure can create the risk of a fire.

Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the powertrain control module (PCM) software or replace the engine, as necessary. To reduce the safety risk, Ford recommends that you should shut off the engine as soon as possible if you hear unusual engine noises, see smoke from the engine compartment, or notice reduced engine power.
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2015-2019 Lincoln MKC vehicles. The battery monitor sensor may short-circuit and overheat, causing a fire in the engine compartment while parked or driving.

Remedy
Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will add an in-line fuse to the battery monitor sensor power circuit, free of charge. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Escape, 2022-2023 Maverick, and 2021-2023 Corsair vehicles equipped with 2.5L HEV or PHEV engines. In the event of an engine failure, engine oil and fuel vapor may be released into the engine compartment and accumulate near ignition sources such as hot engine or exhaust components, possibly resulting in an engine compartment fire.

Remedy
Owners are advised to park and shut off the engine as quickly as possible if they hear unexpected engine noises, notice a reduction in vehicle power, or see smoke. Dealers will replace the engine long-block in 2023 Escape and Corsair vehicles. For the other vehicles, dealers will update the powertrain control module software. If a connecting rod bearing failure is detected, dealers will replace the engine long-block. All inspections and repairs will be performed free of charge. Buell Motorcycles (Buell) is recalling certain 2021-2022 1190 RX and SX motorcycles. The index spring may be installed improperly.

An improperly installed index spring may result in the inability to shift into the intended gear, or cause the gear to slip without warning, increasing the risk of a crash.

On certain vehicles, the water pump drive belt could become damaged and detach. As a result, the engine could overheat and cause the coolant elbow to rupture. If this happens, coolant could leak onto the turbocharger heatshield.
Note: This recall only affects plug-in hybrid (PHEV) models.

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling one 2023 Land Rover Range Rover vehicle. A gasket on the turbo oil drain pipe may be incorrectly installed or missing, which can result in an oil leak.

An oil leak in the presence of an ignition source such as hot engine or exhaust components, can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy

On certain vehicles, an oil channel in the engine camshaft carrier wasn't drilled correctly. As a result, a buildup of oil pressure could cause an oil leak.

An engine oil leak can create the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Land Rover will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the camshaft carrier and replace it, if necessary. The dealer will also replace the catalytic converter, gasoline particulate filter (GPF) and exhaust oxygen sensors, as necessary.
Under certain conditions, the radiator fan motor could overheat and stop working. As a result, a warning light may turn on in the instrument cluster. If you ignore the warning light and continue to ride your motorcycle, engine coolant could leak.

A coolant leak could create the risk of a burn injury. Additionally, coolant that contacts the rear tire can reduce traction and cause a loss of control. This can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Triumph will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealership install an additional heat shield to deflect heat away from the radiator fan.
On certain motorcycles, a problem with the camshaft chain tensioner could cause the engine to fail while riding. If this happens, there would be a sudden loss of engine power.

On certain vehicles equipped with a 3.0 L diesel engine, the high-pressure fuel pump could fail. If this happens, you may notice a change in engine performance, a fuel leak, or a malfunction indicator lamp and/or service electronic throttle control tell-tale may turn on. This could also result in a sudden loss of engine power while driving.

Remedy
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the high-pressure fuel pump. Additional fuel system parts may be replaced, if necessary.
Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2020-2022 Jeep Wrangler, Ram 1500, and 2021-2022 Jeep Gladiator vehicles equipped with 3.0L diesel engines. The high pressure fuel pump (HPFP) may fail, causing an engine stall.
Safety Risk
An engine stall can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy

On certain vehicles, the connecting rod bearings may become damaged. If this happens, the engine could make abnormal noises and a warning light may turn on. If you continue to drive the vehicle with these symptoms, the engine could fail and/or an oil leak could occur.

On certain motorcycles, the mounting clamp for the oil cooler hoses could allow the hoses to rub together. If this happens, damage to the hoses could create an oil leak on or near the rear tire.

Ducati will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to an authorized dealer to install an oil cooler hose spacer.
On certain vehicles, the radiator may not be attached correctly. As a result, a coolant hose could be damaged by contact with the serpentine belt pulley and create a coolant leak. If this happens, coolant could spill onto the road and cause a red warning light to turn on in the instrument cluster. If you ignore the warning light and continue driving, the engine could overheat.

A coolant leak could create a hazard for other road users. Additionally, an engine that overheats could create the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Volkswagen will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to ensure that the radiator is attached correctly. If it is loose, the coolant hose and serpentine belt will also be checked for damage, and replaced if necessary.
On a small number of models with 4Motion all-wheel drive, a software problem in the engine control unit (ECU) could cause the engine to stall when coming to a stop.
