SIGNIFICANT WEAR CAN DEVELOP ON THE LOW AND REVERSE CLUTCH PREVENTING THE PARK PAWL FROM ENGAGING. THIS CAN PREVENT A "NO PARK" CONDITION TO OCCUR WHILE THE ENGINE IS RUNNING, CAUSING UNINTENTIONAL MOVEMENT OF THE VEHICLE WITHOUT OPERATOR ACTION. (THE "NO PARK" CONDITION WILL NOT OCCUR WHILE THE ENGINE IS OFF.)
Safety Risk
UNINTENTIONAL VEHICLE MOVEMENT COULD RESULT IN A VEHICLE ACCIDENT AND INJURY TO PERSONS IN THE PATH OF THE VEHICLE.
Remedy

On certain motorcycles, the front brake hose could fatigue and crack due to tight left turning manoeuvres. The outer protective covering of the brake hose may kink due to excessive bending stress, causing the outer jacket of the brake line to crack, potentially resulting in a brake fluid leak. If brake fluid leakage occurs, the maximum front brake pressure may not be able to be applied. This would also increase stopping distances and could affect braking control, which could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the front brake hose with one of an improved design.
