On certain vehicles, the passenger frontal airbag inflator could produce excessive internal pressure during airbag deployment. Increased pressure may cause the inflator to rupture, which could allow fragments to be propelled toward vehicle occupants, increasing the risk of injury. This could also damage the airbag module, which could prevent proper deployment. Failure of the airbag to fully deploy during a crash (where deployment is warranted) could increase the risk of personal injury to the seat occupant.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the passenger airbag inflator.

On certain vehicles, the antilock brake system (ABS) actuator pump may leak brake fluid onto an electronic circuit board, causing it to malfunction. This would cause the illumination of the ABS warning lamp on the instrument panel. If the vehicle continues to be operated, damage to the ABS module could lead to a fire, creating a risk of injury and/or damage to property.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect and replace the ABS actuator as necessary.
On certain motorcycles, the side stand may not retract if contact is made with the ground when the vehicle is in motion. This could disrupt the stability of the motorcycle leading to a crash, causing injury or death.

On certain trucks, the transmission shift cable bracket may detach. This could cause the transmission not to shift gears when the shifter is moved. As a result, the transmission could be in a different gear than the gear shifter indicates. If a driver attempts to exit the truck while the transmission is not in Park, and the parking brake is not applied, the truck could move suddenly.
Safety Risk
Sudden and unexpected movement of the truck could increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
The company will notify owners by mail and instruct them to take their truck to a dealer to inspect the transmission shift cable bracket bolts. The bolts will be tightened as necessary and the technician will ensure the shifter operates properly.

On certain 745I and 745LI vehicles the electric fuel pump runs at a rotational speed that could result in reduced lubrication of its internal components. Over an extended period of time, wear-induced internal damage to the fuel pump could result in insufficient fuel supply to the engine when the fuel tank contains one-third or less of its maximum fuel capacity. If this were to occur, the engine could stall and not be restarted until more fuel was added to the fuel tank. This could occur even though the fuel gauge indicated that fuel still remained in the tank.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will reprogram the fuel pump control system.
