The 2018 Acura TLX has 4 recalls, the most serious involving the passenger seat occupant sensor and an engine connecting rod bearing that can wear and seize, either of which can lead to injury in a crash or cause the engine to stall or catch fire while driving.
Two separate fuel system recalls round out the list, both involving fuel pump failure that can stall the engine while driving. One affects a wide range of Honda and Acura models and involves a pump that can fail outright; the other is specific to vehicles with the 3.5L V6 engine, where particulates in the fuel can coat internal pump components and reduce fuel delivery until the engine cuts out.
