The 2021 Aston Martin DBX has 6 recalls, the most serious involving drivetrain and suspension failures that can cause sudden loss of vehicle control, engine stall, or extended stopping distances.
On the drivetrain side, fasteners connecting the front propeller shaft and front differential may be loose, which can cut front-wheel drive or stall the engine without warning. A separate electrical concern involves loose cables in the battery fuse box that can also stall the engine or cut power to the headlights and steering. On the suspension side, a pin in the rear lower suspension arm may slide free, causing the arm to crack or shear, which can damage the brake line and result in loss of control. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve this rear suspension pin issue, and it remains open across multiple filings.
There are also two structural recalls that describe the same underlying defect: certain vehicles were built without foam blocks in the headliner, meaning the roof interior offers less protection against head injury in a crash.
