The 2013 Aston Martin V8 Vantage has 3 recalls, the most serious being a seat heater control module that can fail to shut off, allowing the seat to overheat and smolder while someone is sitting in it.
On vehicles equipped with the 7-speed SportShift II automatic manual transmission, a connector on the clutch fluid line can crack and leak hydraulic fluid. If enough fluid is lost, the transmission may lock in whatever gear it is in and refuse to shift, leaving the driver unable to change gears while moving. There is also a door latch concern: the interior unlocking mechanism can fail to respond after the car has been locked from outside, meaning an occupant may not be able to open the door from inside the cabin and could become trapped.
