The 2013 Aston Martin V8 Vantage has 3 recalls, the most serious being a seat heater control module that can fail and leave the heater running until the seat overheats and begins to smolder.
On the drivetrain side, this recall only affects vehicles with the 7-speed SportShift II automatic transmission: a connector on the clutch fluid line can break and leak hydraulic fluid, which may leave the transmission stuck in whatever gear it is in when the fluid runs out. There is also a door latch concern where the interior unlocking mechanism can stop responding after the car has been locked from outside, potentially trapping an occupant inside the cabin.
