The 2018 Audi A4 Allroad has 3 recalls, the most serious involving the front passenger airbag, which may fail to deploy correctly in a crash or be disabled entirely, raising the risk of injury to the front passenger.
Two separate issues affect the passenger airbag: a mounting screw may not have been tightened enough, which can interfere with proper deployment, and corrosion on the passenger seat sensor's connecting cable can cause the system to shut the airbag off altogether. The third recall involves aluminum trim around the door speakers on the front and rear doors, which can work loose and expose sharp edges that could cut occupants reaching into that area.
