On motorcycles with this configuration, the sensor-integrated valve sits in an out-of-spec hole that prevents a proper seal. The second recall involves fuel tank mounting bolts that can work loose and shift inward, where they may contact the front fork when the handlebars are turned sharply, restricting steering range and raising the risk of a crash.
