The 2022 Chrysler Voyager has 6 recalls, the most serious involving the side curtain airbags, which may fail to deploy in a crash or lose pressure too quickly to prevent ejection, raising the risk of serious injury.
Two separate curtain airbag issues affect this vehicle: in one, a loose connector can prevent the bags from deploying at all during a side impact; in the other, improperly sealed seams allow the bags to lose pressure, reducing their ability to keep occupants inside the vehicle. On vehicles equipped with QRT-Deluxe or QRT-Max wheelchair restraints, the restraint system can fail to secure the wheelchair, allowing it to shift during transit. There is also a visibility concern on two fronts: wiper arm nuts that are not properly tightened can cause the wipers to stop working in rain or snow, and a software issue in the radio system can prevent the rearview camera image from appearing when backing up.
