The 2014 Ferrari LaFerrari has 5 recalls, the most serious being a brake system defect that can cause a loss of braking function and raise the risk of a crash.
Two recalls address the same headrest issue: the front seat headrests on certain vehicles do not absorb enough energy in a crash, which can increase the risk of injury to the occupant. The remaining two recalls describe the same tire pressure monitoring problem from different angles. When a tire is punctured, the dashboard displays the wrong warning message, telling the driver to limit speed to 50 mph rather than instructing them not to continue driving. A driver who follows that incorrect guidance may keep the car moving on a flat tire, which can cause a loss of control.
