The 2023 Harley-Davidson CVO Street Glide has 4 recalls, with the most serious being an unexpected loss of handling control at high speed that raises the risk of a crash.
Two other recalls involve critical systems that can fail while riding. On certain motorcycles, the voltage regulator wiring can rub against the engine crankcase, leading to sudden loss of electrical power and drive to the rear wheel, and the bike may not restart afterward. The rear brake line on some bikes is not properly secured and can contact the exhaust, wearing through and leaking brake fluid, which reduces stopping power and extends braking distances. There is also a visibility recall affecting certain lower fairing and inverted fork combinations where the fairings block the front side reflectors, making the motorcycle harder for other road users to see.
