The 2017 Harley-Davidson Street Glide has 2 recalls, both carrying crash risk: an oil cooler line that can detach and spray oil onto the rear tire, and a clutch that can fail to disengage.

The oil cooler line is held by a clamp that may not be properly secured, and if the line pulls free, the sudden oil loss can coat the rear tire and cause the bike to lose traction. On the drivetrain side, the clutch assembly can stick engaged, meaning the rider may be unable to separate the engine from the transmission when needed, making it difficult to slow or stop the motorcycle in traffic.
