The 2003 Infiniti G35 has 5 recalls, the most serious being a fuel pump hose connection that can come loose while driving, cutting off fuel to the engine and causing it to stall unexpectedly.
A separate but related concern involves the brake stop lamp switch, which can malfunction and leave the brake lights dark when the pedal is pressed, giving following drivers no warning that the car is slowing. There is also a headlamp issue: certain vehicles left the factory without tamperproof caps on the headlamp assemblies, leaving the horizontal aim of the headlights unsecured and out of compliance with federal and Canadian lighting standards.
