2015 JEEP GRAND CHEROKEE Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee has 3 recalls, the most serious being a fire risk on 3.0L EcoDiesel models where a cracked EGR cooler can allow hot coolant vapor to enter the intake manifold and ignite. Two recalls apply only to vehicles with the 3.0L diesel engine. Beyond the fire risk, a sensor wheel inside the engine can shed its outer layer, causing the engine to lose timing synchronization and stall without warning. On the suspension side, certain vehicles built within a narrow window in June 2015 may have a rear lower control arm that can fracture, dropping the rear ride height and reducing both stability and braking ability.
