The 2019 Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX has 3 recalls, the most serious involving the rear wheel hub bearing and a transmission control issue, either of which can lock up the wheel or engine and cause a crash.
The rear hub needle-bearing may not have sufficient grease, which can cause it to seize and lock the rear wheel while riding. Separately, if a gear misengages, the engine control unit lacks the programming to limit engine speed during the event, which can damage gears, prevent shifting, and cause the engine to lock up. There is also an engine stall recall, where the engine can cut out unexpectedly while riding, raising the risk of a crash or injury.
