The 2022 Lamborghini Urus has 3 recalls, all involving the rearview camera failing to display an image when the driver shifts into reverse, reducing rear visibility and raising the risk of a crash. Two of the recalls involve infotainment hardware that can fail and leave the display screen dark on startup, taking the camera feed with it. The third involves a software error that can deactivate the camera image independently of the screen. In each case, the driver loses the rearview camera view while backing up.

Defect

Lamborghini (Automobili Lamborghini) is recalling certain 2019-2024 Urus vehicles. A software error may deactivate the rearview camera image, resulting in the image not displaying. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 111, "Rear Visibility."

Safety Risk

A rearview image that does not display reduces the driver's view behind the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy

Dealers will update the parking assist software, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed February 17, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy becomes available. Owners may contact Lamborghini customer service at 1-866-681-6276. Lamborghini's number for this recall is L636-R.01.26.
