The 2024 Lexus RX has 4 recalls, the most serious involving the second-row center seatbelt, where damaged webbing may not hold an occupant in a crash.
Two recalls affect rear visibility: the rearview camera can fail to display an image at all when shifting into reverse, and a separate software issue tied to the Panoramic View Monitor system can cause the camera feed to freeze or go blank while backing up, both reducing the driver's view behind the vehicle. On the interior safety side, the front head restraints on the driver and passenger seats can pull free without pressing the release button, and if not reinstalled before a rear-end crash, they leave occupants with less protection against neck injury.
