The 2024 Porsche 911 has 3 recalls, the most serious involving center lock wheel bolts that can fracture and allow a wheel to detach from the vehicle while driving, creating a significant loss of control.
The windshield and rear window on certain vehicles may not be properly bonded to the body, meaning either panel can detach. Beyond the obvious structural concern, a loose windshield can also fail to support the front airbags during a crash, causing them to deploy away from the occupant rather than toward them. There is also a camera issue: the rearview image may fail to appear when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, leaving the driver without any view of what is directly behind the car while backing up.
