The 2022 Porsche 911 has 4 recalls, the most serious involving center lock wheel bolts that can fracture and allow a wheel to detach, creating a significant risk of losing control.
Two recalls concern crash protection. The dashboard console on certain vehicles can break during a frontal collision with airbag deployment, causing the passenger airbag to deploy incorrectly. The windshield and rear window may also not be properly secured and can detach, which undermines the support structure the front airbags rely on during a crash and raises the risk of injury. The fourth recall covers the rearview camera, which may fail to display an image when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, reducing visibility behind the car while backing up.
