The 2016 Porsche Macan S has 6 recalls, the most serious being two separate fuel leak risks: a low-pressure fuel line in the engine compartment and a fuel pump flange that can crack, either of which can cause a fire.
On the occupant safety side, the front passenger seat sensor mat can degrade and stop detecting whether someone is sitting in that seat, causing the passenger airbag to stay off in a crash. The outboard rear seatbelt anchors may also have mounting screws that were not fully tightened, allowing the anchor to pull free in a crash and leave the occupant without proper restraint. There is also a headlight aim recall covering a broad range of Porsche models and years: the headlights may not be properly adjusted, either leaving the road ahead underlit or sending glare into the eyes of oncoming drivers.
