The 2016 Triumph Thruxton has 4 recalls, the most serious being a side stand spring that can fracture and allow the stand to drop while riding, triggering the side stand switch and cutting engine power without warning.
The remaining recalls both involve engine stalling tied to throttle and clutch behavior. The engine management software can fail to maintain a stable idle when the throttle is opened or closed quickly with the clutch disengaged, causing the engine to cut out unexpectedly. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve this issue, and a separate software update addresses the same stalling condition.
