2012 TRIUMPH TIGER 800 Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2012 Triumph Tiger 800 has 3 recalls, the most serious involving an optional accessory center stand whose return spring can break and cause the stand to drop and drag along the road while riding, creating a crash risk. The optional top box also has a recall: a missing clip in the locking mechanism means the box can detach from the motorcycle while underway and strike other vehicles. There is also a concern with the turn signal lamp supports, which were made incorrectly and can crack, leaving the lamp assemblies hanging from their wiring and making it unclear to other drivers which way the motorcycle is turning.
