On certain vehicles, the original throttle bodies installed allowed a gap between the plate and bore to be built with reduced clearances or too narrow. This reduced clearance allowed the thin film of engine deposits normally present in the throttle body to contact or bridge the gap. If the engine deposits bridged the gap between the throttle plate and bore and hardened, on the initial application of the accelerator pedal after the engine has cooled, the operator would need to apply additional force to the accelerator pedal to break the bridge. This could result in the throttle body sticking closed.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Original throttle bodies will be replaced on affected vehicles.

On certain CB750K, the threaded insert (oil filter boss) for the oil filter retaining bolt may not withstand the stress cause by engine temperature and pressure (particulartly when the oil filter bolt has been over tightened). Should the oil filter boss break, the oil filter will come off allowing oil to fall on the road surface. The oil may come in contact with the rear tire causing a reduction in traction affecting vehicle control.
THE DRIVER AND FRONT SEAT PASSENGER INBOARD SEAT BELTS MAY NOT BE PROPERLY ANCHORED TO THE INBOARD SEAT TRACKS. THERE IS A POSSIBILITY THAT ONE OF THE NUTS WAS NOT TIGHTENED TO SPECIFICATION OR THE SEAT BELT ANCHOR WAS NOT ATTACHED TO A STUD. IF A NUT IS LOOSE, IT COULD BREAK OFF, ALLOWING THE BELT ANCHOR TO DISENGAGE THE STUD. AN UNATTACHED BELT ASSEMBLY WOULD NOT WITHSTAND AN IMPACT LOAD.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
VEHICLES WILL BE INSPECTED AND INBOARD SEAT BELT ANCHORAGES WILL BE CORRECTED IF NECESSARY.
