On certain XE models, the size of the spare tire wheel rim is incorrect. The wheel rim does not fit properly on the front hubs and will contact the brake caliper. Continued usage of the spare tire wheel on a front hub can also result in loosening of the lug nuts and an increase in brake fluid temperature. This may eventually cause the wheel to separate from the vehicle and/or deterioration in braking performance.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the wheel rim and re-install the spare tire.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES. A SMALL SECTION OF THE VEHICLE FUEL LINE ASSEMBLY MAY HAVE BEEN DAMAGED DURING PRODUCTION. IF DAMAGED, FUEL COULD LEAK TO THE OUTSIDE.
Safety Risk
IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, CAUSE A FIRE.
On certain vehicles, long-term exposure to high absolute humidity and temperature, combined with high temperature cycling, may eventually degrade the propellant contained in the passenger-front airbag. This could cause the airbag to deploy with more force than normal. If the airbag inflator ruptures, fragments could be propelled toward vehicle occupants or cause damage to the airbag assembly, preventing its proper function.
Safety Risk
If the vehicle is involved in a crash requiring an airbag deployment, the airbag inflator could rupture and create a risk of injury.
Remedy
Owners will be notified by mail and instructed to take their vehicle to a dealer to have the passenger-front airbag inflator replaced.
Note: The Canadian climate results in the propellant degrading slowly. This recall is being conducted as a precaution to address future risk. It is expected that all airbag inflators will be replaced before their function would be affected.
Additional note: This recall supersedes recalls 2016-347 (Ford Safety Improvement Program 16S26), 2017-024 (Ford Recall 17S01) and 2018-035 (Ford Recall 18S01). Vehicles repaired under the previous recalls do not require repair under this recall.
On certain vehicles, the coolant bleeder hose could crack over time. This could allow coolant to leak on to the exhaust system. This could also cause a build-up of coolant in the insulation for the catalytic converter.
Note: This condition could cause a low coolant level warning or a high temperature warning to display on the dash.
Safety Risk
Coolant that contacts a hot exhaust system or that builds up over time in insulation could create a fire risk for a vehicle that is stopped or parked.
Remedy
Volvo will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the coolant bleeder hose with an improved one.

As a result, there could be reduced power to the wheels, the transmission could shift harshly and/or the rear wheels could lock up. Additionally, at low speeds, this problem could cause the vehicle to move in an unintended direction.
Note: This recall only affects vehicles with certain engine and transmission combinations.
Safety Risk
Rear wheels that lock suddenly could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, a vehicle that moves in the unintended direction could also increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the transmission control module software.
