Maserati North America, Inc. (Maserati) is recalling certain 2021 Quattroporte Trofeo and Ghibli Trofeo vehicles equipped with optional 21-inch tires. The tire placard may have incorrect tire pressure information. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
Safety Risk
Tires that are inflated to the incorrect pressure could lead to a loss of vehicle stability and control, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the placard and update the tire pressure monitoring system, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 10, 2021. Owners may contact Maserati customer service at 1-877-696-2737. Maserati's number for this recall is 432.
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Land Rover Defender vehicles. The owner's manual incorrectly states that the third-row seating is equipped with LATCH child seat restraints with top tethers. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 225, "Child Restraint Anchorage Systems."
Safety Risk
Incorrect child restraint information may result in a child seat being improperly secured, which can increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Remedy
Land Rover will mail owners the correct information to insert into the owner's manual, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on September 23, 2021. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N601.
On certain vehicles, a label on the headlamp assembly may contain incorrect information for a service technician. As a result, the headlamps may not get adjusted correctly after a repair. This could cause glare and/or confusion for oncoming drivers.
Note: This recall only affects certain vehicles equipped with LED headlamps.

Mercedez-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to replace the headlamps.
On certain vehicles, the tire inflation pressure label lists the wrong cold tire pressure for the tires. The pressures are below what is recommended for the load limit listed. Canadian regulations require the recommended inflation pressures to be listed on the label.
Safety Risk
This small error does not affect vehicle safety. The vehicles are equipped with a Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) which will turn on the warning light if the tire pressure drops below the minimum safe inflation pressure.
Remedy
This is not a recall. Maserati has made changes to ensure that all new vehicles have the correct tire inflation pressure on the label.
General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2021 GMC Canyon vehicles. The load carrying capacity printed on the Tire and Loading Information placard is 22.5 kg (51 lbs.) more than intended. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
Safety Risk
An incorrect label may lead to unintentionally overloading the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
GM will mail owners a new B-pillar label, free of charge. Owners may apply the label, or bring it to a dealer for installation. Owner notification letters were mailed on August 17, 2021. Owners may contact GMC customer service at 1-800-462-8782. GM's number for this recall is N212340735.
On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label lists the incorrect capacity for occupants and cargo. This could lead to overloading the vehicle, which can cause poor handling and/or a tire failure.
Safety Risk
Poor handling and/or a tire failure could cause a loss of control and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
General Motors will mail a new tire and loading information label to each owner. If you would like help to install the label, you can contact a GM dealer to have it installed free of charge.
On certain vehicles, the daytime running lamps (DRLs) will remain on when the driver switches the front fog lamps on. A recent change to Canadian regulations requires the DRLs to turn off when the fog lights are switched on.
Safety Risk
Daytime running lamps that stay on in foggy conditions could cause glare and reduced visibility. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
FCA Canada will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to reprogram the body control module.
On certain hybrid electric vehicles (HEV), the daytime running lamps (DRLs) do not turn on when you use the Remote Smart Parking Assist feature. Canadian regulations require the DRLs to turn on when the vehicle moves.
Safety Risk
A moving vehicle without daytime running lights may be less visible to people and could increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Hyundai will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to update the vehicle software.
On certain motorcycles, the rear reflex reflector lens could have a defect that could reduce the amount of light that is reflected. As a result, the reflector may not meet the requirements of Canadian regulations.
Safety Risk
A reflector that is difficult to see may make the motorcycle less visible to others. This could increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Honda will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to inspect, and if necessary, replace the rear reflex reflector.
Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Super Cub C125, CB500X, CB650R, CBR300R, CBR500R, CBR650R, Rebel 300, Rebel 500, Monkey, 2020 CRF250L, GROM, 2021 CRF300L, and CB500F motorcycles. The rear reflector lens may not reflect brightly enough. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Safety Risk
A dim rear reflector may reduce the visibility of the motorcycle to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the rear reflector, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 7, 2021. Owners may contact Honda customer service at 1-866-784-1870. Honda's number for this recall is KM3.
On certain motorcycles, the wrong front and rear turn signals were installed at the factory. As a result, the turn signals are too small, and do not meet Canadian regulations.

Remedy
Ducati will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your motorcycle to a dealer to replace the front and rear turn signals.
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2017 Touareg GP, Tiguan, Golf A6, E-Golf GP, CCF, 2016-2017 Passat GP, 2018-2019 Golf R GP, and 2018 Atlas vehicles. These internal-use vehicles were sold without confirmation that they were built to all applicable regulatory requirements and may have been modified prior to sale. As such, these vehicles may fail to comply with the requirements of various Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards.

Vehicles that do not meet all regulatory requirements may have an increased risk of injury, crash, or fire.
Remedy

Daimler Vans USA, LLC (DVUSA) is recalling one 2019 Mercedes Benz Sprinter vehicle. The VIN number listed on the vehicle's dash board, certification label, and body-in-white do not match. As such, this vehicle fails to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 567, "Certification."
Safety Risk
The consumer may not receive information about open safety-recall campaigns, increasing the risk of injury, a crash, or fire.
Remedy
DVUSA will notify the owner, and a dealer will replace the VIN listed on the vehicle's dash board and certification label, free of charge. The recall began May 11, 2021. Owners may contact DVUSA customer service at 1-877-762-8267. DVUSA's number for this recall is VS3VINCHA.
Certain vehicles may not display the correct warning indicator when the brakes are worn out. As a result, the brake wear indicator lamp ("BRAKE WEAR") may display instead of a symbol.
Note: Worn out brakes will also cause a warning message to display in the message centre.

While there is a low risk to safety, Canadian regulations require warnings to use common symbols, instead of words, to avoid driver confusion.
Remedy
Porsche will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealer to reprogram the instrument cluster.
On certain wheelchair-accessible vehicles, the compliance label has incomplete information. Also, the tire and loading information label may not have been updated to include the new seating capacity and the maximum weight of occupants and cargo. This could lead to overloading of the vehicle and cause poor handling or a tire failure.

Overloading of the vehicle could cause a loss of control and result in a crash.
Remedy
Dynamic Specialty Vehicles will mail new compliance and tire and loading information labels to each owner, along with instructions for how to install them.
On certain vehicles, the owner's manual is missing information for how a person can contact Transport Canada to report a safety concern. As of September 1, 2020, Canadian regulations require all companies to provide this information in the owner's manual.

Remedy
This is not a recall. Kia has corrected the owner's manual for all new vehicles. Additionally, corrected owner's manuals are available to view on Kia Canada's website.
On certain vehicles, the tire and loading information label does not list that there is no spare tire in both official languages. The label reads as "NONE" when it should read as "NONE / AUCUN". Canadian regulations require the information to be listed on the label in both English and French.
Safety Risk
This error does not affect vehicle safety.
Remedy
This is not a recall. General Motors has corrected the tire and loading information label for all new vehicles.
On certain vehicles, the cover for the child seat tether anchorage for the second-row middle seat and/or a third-row seat is not marked with the required symbol. Canadian regulations require a specific symbol to mark the top tether anchorage location.
Safety Risk
This small error is unlikely to affect safety, as information about the location of the child seat top tether anchorages can be found in the owner's manual.
Remedy
This is not a recall. Tesla has made changes to ensure that the top tether anchorage is properly marked on all new vehicles.
On certain trucks, when the manual override is used to switch off the daytime running lamps (DRLs), the lights may not turn on again when you start driving. Canadian regulations require that if DRLs are manually turned off, they must turn on again when you start driving.
Safety Risk
Driving without daytime running lights could make the vehicle less visible to others and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Volvo Trucks will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your truck to a dealer to update the vehicle software.
Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC. (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2019-2020 Jaguar F-Pace vehicles. The Auto High Beam (AHB) system does not indicate through the instrument cluster when the high beams are illuminated automatically. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Safety Risk
The driver may be unaware that the high beams are illuminated, reducing visibility for oncoming traffic, and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
