On certain 2500 and 3500 series heavy duty pickup trucks equipped with a Cummins diesel engine and a manual transmission, an elevated idle speed may occur after extended use of the cruise control. The engine will run at this elevated idle speed until either key off, or until the accelerator pedal is nearly fully depressed. The customer perception is that the cruise control will not disengage or that the accelerator linkage is sticking.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealer will reprogram the software in the Cummins engine controller.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2010-2011 Ford Fusion vehicles manufactured July 21, 2008, to March 4, 2011, and 2010-2011 Mercury Milan vehicles manufactured July 23, 2008, to December 10, 2010. The affected vehicles have fuel vapor canisters whose purge valves may not operate properly resulting in abnormal pressure changes in the fuel tank.
Safety Risk
The pressure changes may cause the tank to crack and leak fuel. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy
Ford will notify owners, and dealers will update the vehicle powertrain control modules and inspect the vehicle for any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) for this issue and perform a leak test on the Canister Purge Valve (CPV). The fuel tank will be inspected for cracks. The CPV and fuel tank will be replaced as necessary. These repairs will be performed free of charge. The recall began on January 15, 2016. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 15S34.

POSSIBLE INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE BEWTWEEN THE FUEL TANK VENT TUBE AND VEHICLE FLOORPAN WHERE THE TUBE PROJECTS THROUGH AN ACCESS HOLE INTO THE TOOL COMPARTMENT UNDER THE TRUNK FLOOR. THE VENT TUBE MAY CONTACT THE OPENING AND BECOME DAMAGED RESULTING IN FUEL LEAKAGE.
On certain 318I, 318IC and 318IS vehicles, at temperatures below -10 degrees centigrade with the engine partially or completely warmed up, condensation from the crankcase ventilation system may freeze at the throttle housing and prevent the throttle plate from fully closing when the accelerator pedal is released. This could result in a slow rate of deceloeration from speed or increased idle speed both of which may adversely affect vehicle control.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Throttle house will be replaced with a version containing a modified heating system and the crankcase vent will be rerouted.
On certain vehicles, if the driver's all-weather floor mat is not secured by the retaining clips, or is placed on top of an existing carpeted floor mat, the mat could move forward and interfere with the accelerator pedal. If this occurs, the accelerator pedal could become stuck in the wide open position. A fully depressed accelerator pedal may result in very high vehicle speeds and make it difficult to slow or stop the vehicle. This could result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will modify or replace the accelerator pedal, as well as the genuine Lexus all-weather floor mat.

Ferrari North America, Inc. (Ferrari) is recalling certain model year 2009-2011 Ferrari California vehicles manufactured February 16, 2009, to July 8, 2011, and model year 2010-2011 458 Italia vehicles manufactured March 5, 2010, to July 29, 2011. These vehicles are equipped with air bag inflators assembled as part of the passenger frontal air bag modules, used as original equipment or replacement equipment. In the event of a crash necessitating air bag deployment, these inflators may rupture due to propellant degradation occurring after long-term exposure to absolute humidity and temperature cycling.
Safety Risk
An inflator rupture may result in metal fragments striking the vehicle occupants resulting in serious injury or death.
Remedy
Ferrari will notify owners, and dealers will replace the passenger frontal air bag assembly, free of charge. The recall began October 30, 2017. Owners may contact Ferrari customer service at 201-816-2668. Ferrari's number for this recall is 60.

On certain vehicles, the driver frontal airbag inflator could produce excessive internal pressure during airbag deployment. Increased pressure may cause the inflator to rupture, which could allow fragments to be propelled toward vehicle occupants, increasing the risk of injury. This could also damage the airbag module, which could prevent proper deployment. Failure of the airbag to fully deploy during a crash (where deployment is warranted) could increase the risk of personal injury to the seat occupant.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the front driver air bag module.
On certain vehicles equipped with a 2.3L engine, the fuel line in the area of the throttle body shield may not have the protective convolute properly installed. If the protective convolute on the fuel line is not assembled in the proper position, the fuel line may contact the edge of the shield. Over time this contact may chafe the fuel line, resulting in a fuel leak. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will trim the throttle body shield, inspect the fuel line for damage, and replace the line if necessary.
