General Motors, LLC (GM) is recalling certain 2024 Chevrolet Silverado EV and 2024-2025 GMC Sierra EV pickup trucks. The bolt that secures the rear center seat belt assembly to the seat structure may not have been properly tightened.
Safety Risk
An improperly secured seat belt assembly may not restrain an occupant as intended, increasing the risk of injury in a crash.
Remedy
GM will tighten the bolt that attaches the center seat belt assembly to the rear seat structure, free of charge. All affected vehicles are still in dealer inventory and, therefore, no owner letters will be mailed. On certain vehicles, water could enter the integrated electronic brake (IEB) and cause it to corrode. If this happens, the IEB motor could fail and cause reduced braking.
Note: This service campaign only affects certain Niro EV models.

Reduced braking can cause extended stopping distances and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Kia will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the integrated electronic brake. The dealer will apply silicone to the IEB bolt hole or replace the IEB, as necessary.
Tesla, Inc. (Tesla) is recalling certain 2021-2025 Model S and Model X vehicles. The driver's air bag could tear during deployment. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 208, "Occupant Crash Protection" and 212, "Windshield Mounting."

A torn air bag may not adequately protect an occupant in a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy

On certain vehicles, the driver-front airbag may have been damaged during assembly. As a result, the airbag may not inflate properly in a crash.

Tesla will notify owners by email and advise you to contact Tesla Service to arrange for an inspection and, if necessary, the replacement of the driver-front airbag.
Kia America, Inc. (Kia) is recalling certain 2024-2025 EV9 vehicles. The second- and third-row seat mounting bolts may be missing.

Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC (MBUSA) is recalling a certain 2023 EQS 450+ vehicle. The mounting brackets near the roof may have sharp edges that can damage the side-curtain air bag during deployment. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) numbers 214, "Side Impact Protection," and 226, "Ejection Mitigation."

VinFast Auto, LLC (VinFast) is recalling certain 2023-2025 VF8 vehicles. The center air bag mounted in the driver's seat may deploy improperly during a side impact crash and strike the driver's arm.

BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2025 X4 xDrive 30i, X4 M40i and X4 M vehicles. The inner-left roof frame near the head air bag may have a crack that can damage the head air bag during deployment.

Remedy

On certain vehicles, the rear window may not be properly attached. As a result, under certain conditions, the rear window could separate from the vehicle while driving.
Safety Risk
A rear window that detaches from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
To reduce the safety risk, McLaren recommends not to drive your vehicle on a racetrack until the recall repairs have been completed. McLaren will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install additional fasteners to secure the rear window.
McLaren Automotive Incorporated (McClaren) is recalling certain 2021 765LT Coupe vehicles. The rear cabin window may have insufficient adhesive bonding, which can allow the window to detach from the support frame.

A rear window that detaches from the vehicle can create a road hazard for other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will install bespoke fasteners into each corner of the polycarbonate panel, free of charge. Interim owner notification letters explaining the safety risk were mailed on December 4, 2024. Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Ram 2500 Pickup, Ram 3500 Pickup, 3500 Cab Chassis, 4500 and 5500 Cab Chassis vehicles. The hydraulic control unit (HCU) may fail, which can cause the anti-lock brake (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC), and traction control systems to fail.

A loss of anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, or traction control can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the brake HCU, or replace the HCU motor, free of charge. Interim notification letters, notifying owners of the safety risk, were mailed January 9, 2025. On certain trucks, the brake hydraulic control unit could fail. Over time, this could cause the antilock braking system (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC) system and/or traction control not to work.
