The high voltage battery combined charging unit (CCU) may not have been manufactured correctly, resulting in improperly connected and/or assembled components inside the CCU.
Safety Risk

On certain motorcycles, the reverser control unit may not have been sealed properly. As a result, water could enter the control unit and cause it to corrode. If this happens, the control unit could short circuit.

SUZUKI IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2010 EQUATOR PICKUP TRUCKS MANUFACTURED FROM NOVEMBER 20, 2009 THROUGH MARCH 3, 2010. THE LOWER CONTROL LINK BUSHING COLLARS, LOCATED IN THE FRONT SUSPENSION, MAY CONTAIN WELDS THAT DO NOT MEET STRENGTH SPECIFICATIONS. IF A COLLAR WELD SEPARATES, IT MAY CHANGE THE WHEEL ALIGNMENT, POTENTIALLY ALLOWING THE VEHICLE HANDLING CHARACTERISTICS TO DETERIORATE.

On one vehicle, the recall repairs completed by a Mercedes-Benz dealer during recall 5496507 (Transport Canada recall no. 2025-527) may not have been done correctly. As a result, a second repair is required.
On certain vehicles, there could be a problem inside the high-voltage battery. As a result, the battery modules could overheat and short circuit.
Safety Risk
A short circuit in the high-voltage battery can create a fire risk.
Remedy
To reduce the safety risk, Mercedes-Benz recommends that you set the maximum charge setting of your vehicle at 80% until the recall repairs are completed. Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the battery management system software.
