On certain vehicles, the bracket that secures the steering column assembly may have been improperly welded and could separate. If this occurs, a driver may notice a loose feeling and/or a loud clunking noise from the steering column while turning the steering wheel. Ultimately, this could cause a loss of steering control, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the cross cowl bar assembly to ensure the steering column assembly is properly secured.

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES. THE CAST ALLOY THROTTLE BODY IS HEATED BY FLUID BLED FROM THE COOLING SYSTEM, TO PREVENT ICING IN EXTREMELY COLD WEATHER CONDITIONS. THIS FLUID PASSES THROUGH A SMALL ATTACHMENT (PLATE) TO THE THROTTLE BODY, WHICH UTILIZES A CORK GASKET. THE CORK GASKET HAS PROVEN TO BE UNRELIABLE IN THIS APPLICATION. CONSEQUENTLY, COOLANT FLUID CAN LEAK FROM THE INTERFACE BETWEEN THE DE-ICER PLATE AND THE THROTTLE BODY.
Safety Risk
SHOULD THIS COOLANT COLLECT ON HIGH TEMPERATURE REGIONS OF THE ENGINE, THE COOLANT FLUID COULD IGNITE.
Remedy
DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE THROTTLE BODY GASKET, DE-ICER ATTACHMENT, AND SECURING HARDWARE.
DEALERS WILL INSTALL PLASTIC SHIELDS AROUND THE LOWER FRONT CORNERS OF THE FUEL TANK AND ALSO INSTALL LARGER WASHERS ON CERTAIN REAR SUSPENSION PARTS TO IMPROVE THE RESISTANCE OF THE FUEL TANK TO RUPTURE OR PUNCTURE DURING A REAR-END COLLISION.

On certain W9000 vehicles manufactured between 10-2-75 and 22-4-75. Pipe plugs incorrectly released for installation in the exhaust port of the trailer air supply valve. When the trailer parking brake is released, air trapped in the trailer air supply valve will prevent a piston in the lower portion of the valve from opening, causing a gradual loss of air pressure in the trailer service brake system with each service brake application, and with no advanced warning to the driver.
On certain vehicles, the brake booster input rod may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the input rod could detach from the brake booster and cause a loss of brakes.
Safety Risk
A loss of brakes can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to inspect and, as necessary, tighten the brake booster input rod connection or replace the brake booster.

On certain vehicles one of the diodes used in the alternator may have been damaged when built. This can eventually result in failure of the diode and an electrical short, which could melt the plastic housing. If the combustible gas emitted by the melting plastic does not disperse due to air flow through the engine compartment, it could ignite and in turn ignite the fan guide in the alternator.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
dealers will replace the alternator.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2018-2019 Jeep Grand Cherokee and Dodge Durango vehicles. A malfunction in the antilock-brake system (ABS) module may incorrectly illuminate the brake lights and disable the ABS and electronic stability control (ESC). In addition, the vehicle operator may be able to start and shift out of Park without the brake pedal being applied.
Safety Risk
A vehicle that can be started and shifted out of Park without applying the brake pedal can result in a vehicle rollaway. Disabled ABS and ESC systems can reduce vehicle handling and control in certain driving situations. Brake lights that incorrectly illuminate can fail to properly indicate the driver's intention to following traffic. Any of these scenarios can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the integrated pressure transducer and update the ABS module software, as necessary free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 16, 2025. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 94B. This recall replaces previous recall number 22V-426. Vehicles previously remedied under 22V-426 will need to have the new remedy completed.
ON CERTAIN MINI VANS, THE FUEL TANK CONTROL VALVE WELD JOINT COULD SEPARATE RESULTING IN A POSSIBLE FUEL LEAK.
Safety Risk
FUEL LEAKAGE IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE CAN RESULT IN AN UNDERBODY FIRE.
Remedy

On certain vehicles equipped with automatic transmissions, the transmission’s fluid cooler hose may have been improperly manufactured. This could result in transmission fluid leaking from the hose, and cause abnormal transmission shifts and/or illumination of the instrument cluster malfunction indicator lamp. If enough fluid is lost, the loss of hydraulic pressure to the transaxle could cause a loss of motive power, increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the cooler hose with the revised hose.

THE REAR ENGINE COMPARTMENT COVER NEAR THE CRUISE CONTROL SERVO MOTOR SLIPS, CAUSING THE SAFETY CLIP IN THE SERVO MOTOR ARM TO BIND DUE TO INSUFFICIENT CLEARANCE. IF THE CRUISE CONTROL CABLE BINDS, THE ENGINE DOES NOT RETURN TO IDLE WHEN THE CRUISE CONTROL FUNCTION IS DISENGAGED, RESULTING IN THE VEHICLE SPEED NOT BEING REDUCED AS EXPECTED.
Safety Risk
WHEN THE VEHICLE SPEED IS NOT REDUCED WHEN THE CRUISECONTROL IS DISENGAGED, STOPPING DISTANCE INCREASES WHICH CAN RESULT IN A VEHICLEACCIDENT.
Remedy
INSTALL A BOLT AND WASHER ON THE REAR ENGINE COMPARTMENT COVER TO PREVENT SLIPPING AND TO INSURE THE NECESSARY CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE SAFETY CLIP AND THE COVER.
ALL VEHICLES COULD HAVE DEFECTIVE HEADLIGHT SWITCHES WHICH CAN PREVENT THE HEADLIGHTS FROM BEING SWITCHED ON OR OFF. ALSO, THE 1973-76 TRIUMPH TR-6 VEHICLES MAY HAVE A DEFECTIVE ACCELERATOR LINKAGE WHICH COULD CAUSE THE THROTTLE TO STICK AT IDLE OR IN THE FULLY OPEN POSITION. IN ADDITION, 1971-76 TRIUMPH SPITFIRE VEHICLES WILL BE INSPECTED FOR FUEL HOSE LEAKAGE IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.
