On certain vehicles, the bracket that covers the fuel hose connector is normally secured with a nut and bolt, however during assembly the nut was omitted. In the event of a crash, the bracket may become loose which could result in damage to the fuel hose connector. A damaged connector could lead to a fuel leak and increases the risk of fire causing property damages and personal injuries.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will inspect affected vehicles and install a nut on the fuel feed hose bracket.

On certain vehicles, heavy or repeated full throttle application can cause the accelerator pedal rod lower end to cut through the carpet or rubber mat and may prevent the throttle from returning to the idle position when the foot is removed from the accelerator.
CRACKS MAY DEVELOP IN THE MOUNTING SURFACE AREA OF AEROQUIP MAXI II 30/36 SPRING PARKING BRAKE CHAMBERS POSSIBLY LEADING TO FRACTURE OF THE CHAMBER HOUSING IN THE AREA OF THE STUDS. SUBSQUENTLY, THE CHAMBER COULD SEPARATE FROM THE VEHICLE IF THE CHAMBER PUSH ROD CLEVIS WERE TO SEPARATE FROM THE SLACK ADJUSTER AND THE AIR HOSE FITTINGS AT THE CHAMBER WERE TO FRACTURE. A DETACHED CHAMBER COULD PRESENT A ROAD HAZARD TO OTHER VEHICLES AND THE REMAINING SPRING BRAKES ON THE VEHICLE WOULD APPLY AS AIR PRESSURE DECREASED.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
BRAKE CHAMBERS WILL BE REPLACED WITH CHAMBERS OF A DIFFERENT DESIGN.

On certain Cutaway vans, the transmission may self-engage into first gear while the vehicle is traveling at highway speeds, thereby causing transmission damage to certain gears. Should this occur at speeds beyond 130 km/h, the engine may shut down (and be able to be restarted with limited operating capability). However, in some cases, the transmission will no longer function in any gear. This could cause the vehicle to lose propulsion which, in conjunction with traffic and road conditions, and the driver's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
Dealers will reprogram the Transmission Control Module (TCM) and the Engine Control Module (ECM).

Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
A BRAKE LINE CLIP WILL BE INSTALLED WHICH WILL ASSURE PROPER CLEARANCE. ADDITIONALLY, VEHICLES WILL BE INSPECTED FOR BRAKE LINE DAMAGE CAUSED BY THIS CONDITION AND DAMAGED BRAKE LINES WILL BE REPLACED.

Certain vehicles may be equipped with a 4-pin accessory trailer wiring harness kit that could fail. Over time, this could result in a short circuit that can cause the control module to overheat.
Note: This recall only affects Hyundai Genuine 4-pin tow hitch wiring harness kits with the part number S2F67-AC401. These kits may have been ordered at the time of a vehicle purchase or purchased separately from a dealer as an aftermarket accessory.
Safety Risk
A short circuit can create a fire risk, even while the vehicle is parked and turned off.
Remedy
Hyundai will notify owners by mail and instruct you to bring your vehicle to a dealership to inspect the vehicle for a trailer wiring harness kit. If necessary, the dealer will install a 15A fuse and a wire extension kit. Remedy
Hyundai will notify owners, and dealers will inspect/repair or replace the alternator and the front valve cover gasket, free of charge. Hyundai sent out an interim letter to owners on September 3, 2014. Owners may contact Hyundai customer service at 1-800-633-5151. Hyundai's number for this recall is 121.
THE STEERING WHEEL SET NUT MAY LOOSEN AND CAUSE AN ABNORMAL STEERING VIBRATION AND LOOSENESS. IF THE OWNER CONTINUES TO OPERATE THE VEHICLE IN THIS CONDITION, THE NUT MAY EVENTUALLY COME OFF, AND THE STEERING WHEEL MAY SEPARATE FROM THE STEERING SHAFT. THIS WOULD RESULT IN LOSS OF CONTROL AND A POSSIBLE CRASH.
Safety Risk
No risk description available.
Remedy
STEERING WHEEL SET NUT WILL BE TIGHTENED ON AFFECTED VEHICLES.
