The 2015 Audi A3 Cabriolet has 5 recalls, the most serious involving two separate fuel system issues: a fuel pump that can fail and stall the engine without warning, and a suction pump that can push fuel into the evaporative emissions system where it may leak and ignite.
Two recalls involve airbag protection. The passenger seat occupant detection system can falsely register a fault and shut off the front passenger airbag, leaving that seat unprotected in a crash. Separately, some vehicles have seat covers with incorrect stitching that can block the side airbag from deploying properly. The fifth recall is a compliance issue: certain vehicles carry a safety certification label with an incorrect production date, which can make it harder for owners to confirm whether a given recall applies to their vehicle.
