The 2019 Bentley Bentayga has 5 recalls, the most serious being two separate fuel fire risks: a fuel line quick connector in the engine compartment can leak, and the fuel supply module wiring can overheat and cause a fuel leak, either of which can ignite a fire. On the safety equipment side, side curtain airbags may fail to fully inflate in a crash, reducing protection for occupants along the sides of the cabin. Vehicles equipped with third-row seats have a separate concern: the upper seatbelt anchor in that row can pull free in a crash, leaving rear passengers without effective restraint.
