The 2020 Bentley Continental GT has 6 recalls, the most serious being a fire risk from water entering the climate control system's external coolant pump, which can short-circuit and cause the pump and surrounding wiring to overheat and melt.
On the structural side, vehicles equipped with a factory sunroof may have a panel that is not properly bonded to the body, which can separate from the car at speed and create a crash or injury risk. There is also a seatbelt concern: the front passenger seatbelt assembly may be missing its automatic locking retractor, meaning a child restraint installed in that seat may not be properly secured in a crash. Two recalls address the same powered front seat behavior, where the seat can continue moving rearward and downward after a rear passenger enters, potentially trapping their legs.
