The 2020 BMW X6 M has 3 recalls, the most serious involving front suspension and steering faults that can reduce handling and control, raising the risk of a crash.
On the suspension side, a weld connecting the front axle support to the right front control arm bracket can separate, affecting how the front wheels respond and making the vehicle harder to control. A separate steering concern involves the steering column shaft bearing plate, which may not be properly secured and can loosen over time, again degrading steering response. The third recall involves the rear roof spoiler, which may not be adequately bonded to its mounting plate and can detach at speed, becoming a hazard for other vehicles and people nearby.
