2016 CHEVROLET EXPRESS Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2016 Chevrolet Express has 4 recalls, the most serious involving a rear climate control module that can overheat and start a fire in the headliner when set to maximum heat or maximum floor vent. A second fire risk comes from the driver's power window switch, where liquid can seep in, cause corrosion, and create enough electrical resistance to ignite a fire. On the visibility side, certain vehicles left the factory without an inside rearview mirror, leaving the driver with a limited view behind the vehicle. Some vehicles with a 159-inch wheelbase were also shipped to final-stage manufacturers without a tire pressure monitoring system, so the driver would receive no warning if a tire became dangerously underinflated.
