2023 HARLEY-DAVIDSON FXLRST Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2023 Harley-Davidson FXLRST has two recalls, both carrying crash risk: a rear shock absorber fastener that can break and puncture the rear tire, and front brake lines that can rub against the fuel tank and leak fluid. On the suspension side, if the fastener holding the rear shock absorber breaks, the adjuster can contact and damage the rear tire, causing rapid pressure loss and making the motorcycle difficult to control. On the braking side, the front brake lines on certain models run close enough to the fuel tank that they can wear through and leak brake fluid, reducing or eliminating front braking ability.
