The 2022 Honda HR-V has 4 recalls, the most serious involving the front passenger seat sensor, which can cause the passenger airbag to deploy unexpectedly during a crash and raise the risk of injury.
The fuel system also has a concern: the fuel pump can fail while driving, cutting engine power without warning and leaving the vehicle without acceleration in traffic. On the visibility side, the rearview camera can fail to display an image when the engine is started with a key, leaving the driver without rear visibility while backing up. A prior repair attempt did not fully resolve this camera issue, which is why it remains open. Both camera-related recalls trace back to the same fault in the audio display power circuit, so they describe one underlying problem rather than two separate defects.
