The 2022 Honda HR-V has 4 recalls, the most serious involving the front passenger seat sensor, which can cause the airbag to deploy incorrectly in a crash, raising the risk of injury.
The fuel system also has a concern: the fuel pump can fail while driving, cutting engine power and stalling the vehicle without warning. On the visibility side, the rearview camera may fail to display an image when the engine is started with a key, due to a fault in the audio display power circuit. An earlier repair attempt for this camera issue did not fully resolve the problem, and a follow-up remedy has since been issued.
