The 2010 Infiniti M45 has 3 recalls, all centered on the same critical defect: the front passenger airbag inflator can rupture and send metal fragments into the cabin, causing serious injury or death.
All three recalls address the same underlying issue with the passenger-side frontal airbag inflator. When the airbag deploys, the inflator can explode rather than inflate normally, scattering sharp metal fragments toward the driver and passengers. Prior repair attempts did not fully resolve the issue, which is why multiple recall campaigns exist for this defect. Any unrepaired vehicle should be treated as a priority.
