The 2022 Isuzu N-Series has two recalls, the more serious being a calibration issue on extended-wheelbase vehicles where the automatic emergency braking and electronic stability control systems may not function correctly, raising the risk of a crash.
On certain trucks with frames stretched to a 200-inch or 212-inch wheelbase, the ABS module and, where equipped, the optional forward-facing camera were not recalibrated after the modification, leaving both systems working off incorrect vehicle parameters. The second recall affects NQR Gas and NRR Gas trucks with the 6.0L engine: an incorrectly wired oil pressure sensor fails to warn the driver when oil pressure drops, which can allow the engine to stall without notice and increase crash risk.
