2010 SUZUKI KIZASHI Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2010 Suzuki Kizashi has 8 recalls, the most serious being a fuel tank that can crack and leak fuel, raising the risk of fire. The fuel tank issue has two causes: spider webs can block the evaporative canister vent hose, and dust can restrict a separate vent line, both of which create excessive negative pressure that can crack the tank. Two recalls also address a passenger seat sensor that can misread an adult occupant as a child and deactivate the front passenger airbag, meaning it may not deploy in a crash. A separate transmission concern allows the shift selector to be moved out of Park without pressing the brake pedal, which can cause the vehicle to roll unexpectedly. There is also a glove box door on the center lower dashboard that can swing open in a crash and strike an occupant.
