THE REAR SEAT LAP BELT MAY NOT RETURN TO THE FULLY RETRACTED POSITION AFTER USE. CONSEQUENTLY, THE BELT MAY NOT BE RELEASED DUE TO THE LOCKING CHARACTERISTICES OF THE AUTOMATIC LOCKING RETRACTOR MECHANISM AND SUBSEQUENT REAR SEAT PASSENGERS MIGHT BE UNABLE TO PROPERLY USE THEIR SEAT BELT.
No risk description available.
DEALERS WILL INSTALL A BELT GUIDE OR SHEATH, DESIGNED TO DECREASE RETRACTING RESISTANCE AND TO ALLOW FREE BELT MOVEMENT BY MAINTAINING AN OPENING BETWEEN THE SEAT BACK AND SEAT CUSHION.
A SNAP RING WHICH LOCATES THE PARK GEAR ON THE OUTPUT SHAFT OF THE TRANSMISSION MAY FRACTURE AND ALLOW THE PARK GEAR TO SLIDE REARWARD. THIS WOULD MAKE IT IMPOSSIBLE TO ENGAGE THE PARK GEAR AND COULD RESULT IN VEHICLE MOVEMENT EVEN THOUGH THE GEAR SELECTOR IS PLACED IN THE PARK POSITION.
No risk description available.
AFFECTED VEHICLES WILL HAVE THE SNAP RING REPLACED WITH AN IMPROVED SNAP RING. IN ADDITION, A REVISED TRANSMISSION EXTENSION HOUSING WILL BE INSTALLED WHICH INCORPORATES A CAST STOP THAT WILL LIMIT PARK GEAR MOVEMENT EVEN IF A SNAP RING SHOULD FRACTURE.
On certain pickup trucks equipped with a 6.6L diesel engine and dual fuel tanks, the fuel tank transfer pump may malfunction, stopping the transfer of fuel from the rear tank to the front tank. This could cause the fuel gauge to display an inaccurate reading, and cause the front tank to become empty while fuel remains in the rear tank. This could result in engine stalling which, in conjunction with traffic, road conditions, and driver's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage.
No risk description available.
Dealers will replace the fuel transfer pump.
140 INCH WHEELBASE LIGHT TRUCKS BUILT BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 1, 1977 AND FEBRUARY 1, 1978 WITH AFT-OF-AXLE FUEL TANKS BUT WITHOUT REAR BUMPERS. DEALERS MAY HAVE INCORRECTLY INSTALLED FORD ACCESSORY REAR STEP BUMPERS ON THE SUBJECT VEHICLES. THESE VEHICLES MAY, AS A RESULT OF A REAR END COLLISION AND ROLLOVER, EXPERIENCE FUEL SPILLAGE FROM THE AFT-OF-AXLE FUEL TANK IN EXCESS OF THE AMOUNTS SPECIFIED BY CANADA MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD 301 - FUEL SYSTEM INTEGRITY.

On certain motorcycles, the main wiring harness may be routed incorrectly and suffer chafe damage from interference with the frame in several areas. This could result in a loss of vehicle lighting and/or degradation of engine performance. Failure of the lighting system may result in the following road users being unaware of the rider's intentions, as well as reducing vehicle conspicuity during hours of darkness. This could result in a vehicle crash causing personal injury or death.
No risk description available.
Dealers will reposition the wiring harness.
On certain trucks, the automatic circuit breakers used to protect the vehicle lighting system may not provide adequate protection. If a short circuit occurs, components and wiring may be subject to overheating, which could result in a vehicle fire, causing property damage and/or personal injury or death.
No risk description available.
Dealers will replace the circuit breakers with fuses.
On certain vehicles, the side curtain airbag(s) may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the airbag(s) may not inflate properly in a crash. Note: This is an expansion of Transport Canada recalls 2025-291 and 2025-454.
A side curtain airbag that doesn't work properly could increase the risk of injury in a crash.
FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the side curtain airbag(s), as necessary.
OWNER'S GUIDES INCLUDED WITH THE SUBJECT VEHICLES CONTAIN AN ERROR IN THE WHEEL LUG NUT TORGUE SPECIFICATIONS CHARTS.

AN ENGINE CYLINDER HEAD OIL GALLEY PLUG MAY NOT BE ADEQUATELY RETAINED. INADEQUATE RETENTION OF THE PLUG MAY RESULT IN OIL LEAKAGE WHICH COULD POTENTIALLY CAUSE A FIRE IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.
No risk description available.
AN EXPANSION PLUG AND RETAINING BRACKET WILL BE INSTALLED OVER THE SUSPECT CYLINDER HEAD OIL GALLEY PLUG.
In certain conditions, the connection between the between fuse and fuse mount for the blower motor could overheat.
A fuse and wiring that overheats could create the risk of a fire.
Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and instruct you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace and relocate the blower motor fuse and its wiring. To reduce the safety risk, Mercedes-Benz recommends that you should only operate the blower in manual mode, and not use either the highest or lowest temperature settings until the recall repairs have been completed.
THE FRAME MOUNTED FUEL FILTER MAY CRACK AT THE FUEL INLET MOUNTING NUT AS A RESULT OF FLEXING AND ALLOW FUEL LEAKAGE. THIS COULD CREATE THE POTENTIAL FOR A VEHICLE FIRE.
No risk description available.
VEHICLES WILL BE INSPECTED FOR CORRECT FUEL FEED PIPE INSTALLATION AND A NEW INTERMEDIATE FUEL FEED PIPE ASSEMBLY AND FUEL FILTER ASSEMBLY WILL BE INSTALLED IF REQUIRED.
On certain vehicles operated at low temperatures (-29c), condensed moisture in the crankcase could be drawn into the carburetor and freeze. This condition could result in secondary throttle valve shaft icing which may cause the accelerator to stick in the open throttle position.

On certain vehicles equipped with the Active Curve System (ACS), the oil in the ACS’s reservoir could start foaming under certain dynamic driving situations in combination with an oil level below minimum. The oil foam could leak out of the oil reservoir through the vent holes in the sealing cap and spray onto hot surface components of the exhaust system. This could increase the risk of fire causing injury and/or damage to property.
No risk description available.
Dealers will inspect the ACS reservoir for proper oil level and replace the sealing cap with an updated part.
Certain vehicles do not comply with CMVSS 210 - Seatbelt Assembly Anchorages. Anchor bolt may pull through the upper anchorage plate.

Nut assembly with a larger diameter flanged nut will be installed in place of the existing nut assembly.
On certain motorcycles, the distributor connector cap of the main wire harness was improperly wired, causing one ground circuit to be apportioned an excessive load. If the connector overheats, the power to various circuits could be lost. As a result, a loss of critical lighting or engine power could occur without warning, which could cause a crash.
No risk description available.
Dealers will inspect the ground distribution connector and check for damage. If any damage is found, the dealer will install an improved main harness. If no damage is found, the dealer will install a reconfigured connector cap that will apportion the ground load correctly.
On certain vehicles, improper nickel plating of certain fuel pump internal components could contaminate the pump, potentially resulting in an inoperative fuel pump. This could result in a no-start condition, or an engine stall without warning and without the ability to restart the vehicle, which could increase the risk of a crash.
No risk description available.
Dealers will replace the fuel pump.
On certain vehicles, the owner's manual does not include specific information about the adjustment of the head restraints for the third-row seats. Canadian regulations require this information be included in the owner's manual.
This error is unlikely to affect safety.
This is not a recall. This notice is for information only. The company will provide owners with a supplementary owner's manual booklet with information about how to adjust the head restraints for the third-row seats. The company has made changes to ensure that all new owner's manuals contain this information.
On certain vehicles, the fuel gauge may indicate a greater quantity of fuel than what remains in the tank. As a result, if the tank were to become empty, engine stalling could occur which, in conjunction with traffic, road conditions, and driver's reactions, could increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage.
