Safety Risk
If the headliner support bracket makes contact with an occupant during a crash, it may cause a laceration injury.
Remedy

On certain vehicles, an electrical connection in the steering column roll connector may fail. As a result certain electrical components may not operate as intended. Possible circuits affected are the driver's frontal airbag, paddle shifter function, cruise control, horn, and radio functions. Failure of the driver's frontal airbag to deploy during a crash (where deployment is warranted) could increase the risk of personal injuries to the seat occupant.
