FIRST, THE ADJUSTABLE HANDLEBARS MAY BE SUSCEPTIBLE TO CRACKING IN THE HANDLEBAR STUB. THERE IS THE POSSIBILITY THAT THIS CRACKING COULD RESULT IN BREAKAGE. SECOND, IT IS POSSIBLE THAT THE NUT THAT SECURES THE BALL JOINT TO THE TELELEVER SUSPENSION ARM COULD LOOSEN. THIS COULD CAUSE THE MOTORCYCLE'S DYNAMIC STABILITY TO BE IMPAIRED.

THE LEFT AND RIGHT HANDLEBAR AND RELATED PARTS WILL BE REPLACED AND THE BALL JOINT NUT WILL BE REPLACED AND SECURED WITH LOCTITE.
On certain vehicles equipped with a 2.0L diesel engine, the fuel return hose could leak. This could cause a the fuel to leak onto the road surface which can present a skid hazard to other road users increasing the risk of a crash causing injury and/or damage to property. A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could also cause a fire.

GM will notify owners, and dealers will update the software in the vehicle's Body Control Module to limit the vehicle speed to 26 mph when the hood is not completely closed and latched, free of charge. In addition, the operation of the hood release on the key fob will be modified to reduce the likelihood of inadvertent hood release actuations.
