THE GEAR SELECTOR QUADRANT SPIRAL RETAINING PIN INSIDE THE TRANSMISSION MAY WORKI LOOSE ALLOWING THE GEAR SELECTOR LEVER TO BE MOVED INTO THE "PARK" POSITION WHILE THE TRANSMISSION REMAINS IN GEAR. SOME VEHICLES WERE PRODUCED WITH PLASTIC FINGER GUARDS ATTACHED TO THE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT ASSEMBLY WHICH COULD COME IN CONTACT WITH THE ENGINE FAN WHILE THE ENGINE IS OPERATING.
