Certain motorcycles may not comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CVMSS) 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. The rear side reflectors on the luggage case or luggage case mounts may be partially blocked and not meet the requirements of the standard, which could reduce vehicle conspicuity to following road users, and increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage.
No risk description available.
Depending on the model, dealers will either attach a side reflector to the luggage case, or add a bracket containing a rear side reflector.
Certain vehicles may have had a replacement/spare part left rear tail lamp installed during a dealer service visit which did not contain a rear reflex reflector, thus failing to comply with the requirements of Canada Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (CMVSS) 108 - Lighting System and Retroreflective Devices. This could reduce vehicle conspicuity which would increase the risk of a crash causing injury and/or property damage.
No risk description available.
Dealers will inspect the left rear tail lamp assembly, and if necessary, replace the unit with one that includes a reflex reflector.

On a small number of vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a Ford dealer during recall 25C18 (Transport Canada recall no. 2025-277) may not have been done correctly. As a result, another repair is required. On certain vehicles, the seat belt reminder chime may not sound for long enough when you start the vehicle, and your seat belt is not buckled. Canadian regulations require both a seat belt reminder sound and visual telltale when a driver is not wearing their seat belt. Note: This recall only affects vehicles with a Revel audio system.
A seat belt warning that doesn't work correctly may not remind you to buckle your seat belt. Not wearing your seat belt can increase the risk of injury in a crash.
Ford will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to update the audio control module software.
