On certain trucks, the front grille deflector may not have been manufactured properly. As a result, the deflector could detach from the vehicle.
Note: This recall only affects certain trucks equipped with a chrome front grille deflector.

General Motors will notify owners by mail. The corrective actions for this recall are under development.
On certain vehicles, the bolts for the radiator crossmember may not have been tightened properly. As a result, the strength of the vehicle structure could be reduced in a crash. If this happens, the crash sensors may not work correctly and cause the airbags not to deploy properly. Additionally, this problem could cause certain fuel system components to become damaged in a crash, and fuel could leak.
Note: This recall affects both the Grand Cherokee and Grand Cherokee L models.

Remedy
FCA Canada will notify owners in writing and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to tighten the radiator crossmember bolts.
On certain vehicles, the rear window may not be properly attached. As a result, under certain conditions, the rear window could separate from the vehicle while driving.

A rear window that detaches from the vehicle could create a road hazard for others and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
To reduce the safety risk, McLaren recommends not to drive your vehicle on a racetrack until the recall repairs have been completed. McLaren will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to install additional fasteners to secure the rear window.
On certain trucks, water could leak into the exterior tailgate switch. As a result, the tailgate could unlatch and open unexpectedly while parked. If this happens, cargo that is not secured could fall out of the truck bed and onto the road when the vehicle is moving.
Note: This recall only affects trucks equipped with a power-locking tailgate. This recall is an expansion of GM recall no. N232426400 (Transport Canada recall no. 2024-061.

On certain vehicles, the connectors for the right-hand pedestrian detection sensors may be reversed. As a result, the pop-up engine hood safety feature may not work correctly in certain crashes involving a pedestrian.

Nissan will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the front bumper wiring harness.
BMW of North America, LLC (BMW) is recalling certain 2018-2022 X3 sDrive30i, X3 xDrive30i, X3 M40i, and X3 M vehicles. The attachment for the rear cargo rail may become damaged in a rear crash and result in the cargo rail detaching.
Safety Risk
Interior rear cargo rail detachment during a crash can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the rear cargo rail attachment bolts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 12, 2024. Owners may contact BMW customer service at 1-800-525-7417. Vehicles in this recall were previously remedied for this issue under recall number 24V-534 and will need to have the new repair completed.
On certain vehicles, the recall repairs completed by a BMW dealer during recall 51 84 24RC (Transport Canada recall no. 2024-410) may not be effective. As a result, a second repair is required.
On certain vehicles, the cargo area tie down rails could detach in a rear crash.

Remedy
BMW will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the fasteners that secure the cargo rails to the body.
On certain vehicles, the release cable for the hood latch may be too tight. As a result, the latch could release, and the hood may open suddenly while driving.

A hood that opens suddenly while driving could block the driver's view and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy
McLaren will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the hood latch.
On a small number of vehicles, the right-rear door lock may not latch properly. As a result, the door could open while driving. Also, if a person tries to forcefully open the right-rear door while the child safety lock is activated, the door lock could become damaged. If this happens, passengers may not be able to open the door from inside the vehicle.

On certain vehicles, the inspection or repairs completed by a Tesla service center during recall SB-20-12-005 (Transport Canada recall no. 2020-553) may not have been effective. As a result, a second inspection and/or repair is required.
On certain vehicles, two of the cosmetic roof trims may not be properly attached. This includes the cosmetic roof trim just behind the top of the windshield and the spine cosmetic roof trim between the rear doors. Over time, these cosmetic roof trims could loosen and separate from the vehicle.

When using the key fob "global close" feature to close the windows, a software problem could cause the window automatic reversal system not to work. If this happens, a window may not stop and retract after detecting an object. As a result, the vehicles may not meet certain requirements of Canadian regulations.

On certain vehicles, the passenger-side sliding door may be missing a support beam. In a crash, this could reduce the door's strength. Additionally, the tire and loading information label may not list the correct seating capacity.

On certain vehicles, the rivets securing the hood latch strikers may not have been installed properly. Under certain conditions, the striker(s) could detach from the hood and the hood may open suddenly while driving. This could also cause the hood to separate from the vehicle.

A hood that opens suddenly while driving could block the driver's view. Additionally, a hood that detaches could create a road hazard for others. Both could increase the risk of a crash.
