On certain GS 300, GS 300 AWD, GS 350, IS 250, IS 250 AWD and IS 350 vehicles, the fuel pressure sensor connected to the engine fuel delivery pipe may not have been sufficiently tightened during vehicle assembly. Should the pressure sensor loosen, fuel could leak past a gasket used in the connection between the sensor and pipe, and through the threaded portion of the sensor. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury.

Dealers will inspect for fuel leakage from the threaded portion of the fuel pressure sensor. If there are no signs of a fuel leak, the fuel pressure sensor will be tightened to specifications. If a fuel leak is confirmed, the gasket between the sensor and the fuel delivery pipe will be replaced, and the sensor will be tightened.

A detached thrust arm can cause a sudden loss of vehicle control, or cause the vehicle to pull to one side during emergency braking, increasing the risk of a crash.
Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the remedy has been performed. On certain vehicles equipped with a trailer lighting control module, or that had a trailer lighting control module installed as an aftermarket accessory, water may enter the module and connector, and could cause wiring corrosion and damage to the module. This could result in an electrical short to ground, which could cause an uncommanded seat belt pretensioner deployment, a burning smell and/or an increased risk of fire, even when the vehicle is parked and the ignition is off. Hyundai Motor America (Hyundai) is recalling certain 2025 Hyundai IONIQ 5 "N" vehicles equipped with left-foot braking (LFB) and N e-shift features. The integrated electronic brake (IEB) and vehicle control unit (VCU) software may cause reduced braking performance when LFB is activated. Additionally, the vehicle may continue to accelerate after the pedal is released and the vehicle's N e-shift feature is engaged.
Reduced braking performance and unexpected, continued acceleration increase the risk of a crash.
Owners are advised not to use the LFB or N e-Shift features until the remedy has been performed. The IEB and VCU software will be updated over-the-air (OTA) or by a dealer, free of charge.
