On certain vehicles built with a panoramic vista roof, the roof glass may not be properly attached. Over time, the glass can become loose and cause wind noise and water leaks. Eventually, it could separate from the vehicle completely.
Note: This recall is an expansion of Ford recall 16S35 (Transport Canada recall nos. 2016-474 and 2021-776) and 20S22 (Transport Canada recall no. 2020-204).

On certain vehicles, the child safety lock on the left-rear door may not work properly. As a result, the door could be opened from the inside of the vehicle when the safety lock is in the "ON" position.

On certain vehicles, the windshield and/or the rear window may not be properly attached. As a result, the front airbag(s) may not inflate properly in a crash.

On certain vehicles, a part in the trunk release latch could fail. If this happens, the emergency trunk release located inside the trunk may not work properly. This could prevent a person that is trapped inside the trunk from opening it.

If a person is closed inside the trunk compartment, they may not be able to get out. This could create a risk of injury.

Hyundai will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to replace the trunk latch assembly.
On certain vehicles, the accelerator pedal bracket may not have been welded properly. As a result, the pedal could deform and/or detach. If this happens, the accelerator pedal could stay applied and/or block the brake pedal, causing reduced braking.

A vehicle that doesn't slow down as expected or accelerates on its own could increase the risk of a crash. Additionally, reduced braking can increase the risk of a crash.

Mercedes-Benz will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to secure the accelerator pedal bracket.
CFMOTO POWERSPORTS, INC. (CFMOTO) is recalling certain 2023 450SS motorcycles. The telematics box (T-box) may fall onto the front steering forks, which can cause a loss of steering control.
Safety Risk
A loss of steering control increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy
Dealers will replace the T-Box holder, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 29, 2024. Owners may contact CFMOTO customer service at 1-763-398-2690. CFMOTO's number for this recall is SAF-2024-01.
On certain trucks, water could leak into the exterior tailgate switch. As a result, the tailgate could unlatch and open unexpectedly while parked. If this happens, cargo that is not secured could fall out of the truck bed and onto the road when the vehicle is moving.
Note: This recall only affects trucks equipped with a power-locking tailgate.

General Motors will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your truck to a dealership to replace the exterior tailgate switch. To reduce the safety risk, General Motors recommends that you should inspect the tailgate to ensure it's closed and latched before driving.
On a small number of vehicles, the left and right-rear quarter glass may not be properly attached. As a result, the glass could become loose and separate from the vehicle.

On certain vehicles, the rear frame may be missing reinforcements. As a result, the frame could become damaged and cause a change vehicle stability. This problem could also cause the mounting points for the third-row seats to fail in a crash.

On a small number of vehicles, the cargo partition wall may not be attached properly. As a result, the wall could move or detach in a crash and cause the cargo to move inside the vehicle.

On certain vehicles, a software problem could cause the doors not to stay latched in a crash. As a result, the vehicles may not meet certain side impact protection requirements of Canadian regulations.

A door that opens in a crash could increase the risk of injury.
Remedy
Tesla has released an over-the-air software update to fix this problem. There is no further action required if your vehicle has software release 2023.44.30 or a later release. Tesla will notify affected owners by email.
On certain vehicles, the plastic panel located between the windshield and the panoramic sunroof may not have been attached correctly during a prior service repair. Over time, the panel could loosen and separate from the vehicle.

Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2023-2024 ID.4 vehicles. The interior sunshade for the panoramic glass roof may be insufficiently fire retardant. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 302, "Flammability of Interior Materials."
Safety Risk
In a fire, fabric that is not fire retardant may further fuel a fire, increasing the risk of injury.
Remedy
Dealers will apply flame retardant to the sunshade fabric, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed December 15, 2023. Owners may contact Volkswagen's customer service at 1-800-893-5298. Volkswagen's number for this recall is 60G3.
On certain Boxster GTS 4.0 and Cayman GTS 4.0 models, the rear vehicle electronics control unit may not have been programmed correctly during production. As a result, the rear spoiler may be too high and block the high-mounted stop lamp. This problem could also lead to poor handling.
Safety Risk
A high-mounted stop lamp that is blocked may cause others not to recognize when the vehicle is braking. Additionally, poor handling could cause a loss of control. Both issues could increase the risk of a crash.

Porsche will notify owners by mail and advise you to take your vehicle to a dealership to reprogram the rear vehicle electronics control unit.
